Some of the best retrievers, beagles, and bird dogs compete for national honors. Many of the competitions use equestrian trails, with dog handlers and observers following the action from horseback.
May 8-12
A Little Miss and Mister Rend Lake Water Festival coronation will be held on Friday evening at 6 p.m. on May 11th in the Capitol Park pavilion. Live musical performances by local and out of town Country-Western, Oldies, and Gospel entertainers will be featured at the Franklin County Garage Museum parking lot and Capitol Park pavilion. A parade will be held on May 12th at 10:00 a.m. with craft, food, and novelty vendors at the Franklin County Garage Museum.
2nd Saturday of May thru August. 5:30 - 8:30
This event will be held on the Benton Square from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the second Saturday of each month from May - August featuring classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and hot rods. Bands will provide entertainment.
May 18th (6pm-11pm), May 19th (11am - 7pm)
Fourth Friday May through September
Each fourth Friday evening May through September from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. a host of country music entertainers (and guest performers) will be featured at the new Capitol Park band shelter on the Benton Public Square.

All you can eat pancakes and sausage, milk, juice & coffee. 50/50 will be available. Proceeds go to benefit Library. $4 adults and 5-under $2
