Labor Day Weekend
Festival begins Sunday with dinner and entertainment. Enjoy a parade and participate in bingo, washer, and horseshoe tournaments. Visit craft booths, flea markets, and free games for all ages. Enjoy magicians, clowns, food booths, fireworks, and much more.
Saturday/Labor Day Weekend
Enjoy a day of fun, food, games, a parade, car show, craft vendors, and entertainment. There will also be several high school reunions.
September 8
This event will include a wide variety of antique and classic cars providing competition for participants as well as the viewing of a quality car show for spectators held in downtown Benton with food and entertainment. September 15
A festival honoring the memory of George Harrison and the Beatles.
September 29-30
This year's Festival features presentations by over 40 of Illinois' best known artists, and entertainment by area bands. Featured artists have been juried in and are members of the Illinois Artisans Program. Many artists will demonstrate and sell their art, including: clay, bevel glass, blacksmith's, basket making and glass blowing demonstrations.
September 20-23
Held in downtown West Frankfort Pageant crowning Princess Flame and Little Mr. and Miss Old King Coal, carnival, car show, band competition ,parade, craft booths, food vendors, and coal exhibit.
October 6
